Samantha Piedmont, RN, BSN, CPN has more than 18+ years of experience in registered nursing care. Her professional background includes med-surgery, post-op, trauma and orthopedics, as well as caring for individuals who have undergone bariatric surgery and gender-affirming surgeries. In addition, Sam has also worked to provide in-home care and nursing consulting. She has worked with patients from all walks of life and all ages too.
In 2019, Sam found herself on the other side of the healthcare spectrum as a patient after undergoing surgery. While recovering at home, she realized just how difficult it was to navigate the ins and outs of a tricky healthcare system on top of managing her own care. She was inspired to use her professional expertise to provide compassionate support and advocacy for others.
Sam’s passion for caregiving goes back years—she even worked as a nursing assistant while completing her first degree. She holds an A.S. in Nursing from Brookdale College as well as a B.S. in Nursing from Rutgers University. Her certifications include BLS and PALS.
Sam was born in Chile before relocating to the US as a young child and was lucky enough to reconnect with her family in South America through Facebook several years ago. She lives in Old Bridge, NJ with her husband and three children, along with their dog Molly Mae. In her free time, Sam enjoys exercising, yoga, playing with her kids and catching up on Netflix.
